Being so close to France, Denmark has some fantastic French Restaurants that even visitors to the country should take the time to visit for a night out. Below, we have listed our favorite French restaurants in Copenhagen.

Bistro Pastis

An informal and relaxed environment, Bistro Pastis is located in central Copenhagen, making it an easy place to access from many of the popular tourist spots, as well as being a calm, elegant place to enjoy an evening meal. The restaurant serves traditional French cuisine such as escargot, moules frites and profiteroles.

L’Education Nationale

With Edith Piaf singing in the background, and red and white checkered tablecloths, L’Education Nationale is a cozy spot to find French food. The staff are attentive and ready to answer any questions on the menu, which includes items like goat cheese salad or beef filet with truffle sauce.

Les Trois Cochons

Located in an old butcher shop, Les Trois Cochons has white-tiled floors and large windows. The candles around the restaurant create a warm, romantic ambience, making the meal more enjoyable and relaxing. Jean-Claude is a classic French restaurant that serves traditional French favourites such like croque madame or their signature mushroom toast. Mon Amour

This family run restaurant is located in the Latin quarter of Copenhagen and features a three course menu, where guests can pick between terrine and mushroom soup, steak frites and moules frites, and creme brûlée or profiteroles. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making Mon Amour a great place to go for young families.
