Pink neon signs, sparkling disco balls and good loud music; this is Jolene, the Meatpacking District’s club with the city’s coolest and most boisterous crowd. From Thursday to Sunday the place gets packed with locals and tourists who want to sweat it out on the dance floor. Gefährlich is one of the most popular restaurants and nightclubs in Copenhagen. Gourmet dishes, a wide variety of wines, ice-chilled cocktails and DJs’ uplifting tunes on Fridays and Saturdays make Gefährlich a great place to start and finish your night out. It is located in Nørrebro, one the city’s coolest neighborhoods, just a few minutes away from Nørreport station and the city center. When the kitchen closes at 10pm the place transforms into a cool club with music running from electronic to indie and rock.

Those who aren’t afraid of low temperatures and want to indulge in a drink surrounded by ice should look out for Reflections Ice Bar. Skilled ice designers and sculptors have joint forces and created a unique environment based on the place’s current theme, which is Northern Most Attitude. A cocktail and a shot are included in the entrance fee which is 150DKK (24 US$) and are served in glasses made of ice. You’ll have 45 minutes to soak up the atmosphere and taste the bar’s high-quality drinks.

Det Bar Træls first opened as a pop-up bar in 2015 and re-opened in July 2017 – this time for good. It’s now located on Nørrebrogade at number 22, serving tasty drinks and cocktails from Thursday to Saturday until 3am. The newly opened bar offers a relaxed and cosy atmosphere under the sound of good music, ideal for some early drinks to welcome the weekend.

Cocktails made by experienced bartenders, served in a building with a story tracing back to 1740, and a view to the city’s canals and the historic Thorvaldsen‘s museum are what Ruby’s guests experience. The renowned cocktail bar already counts 10 years in Copenhagen’s bar scene and has been awarded several times with international nomination and credits. Located on the most central street of Nørrebro neighborhood, Kassen is one of Copenhageners’ favorite hangouts for a frozen cocktail and night out under the disco balls. It’s usually packed and therefore you’ll see many people standing outside the hip bar sipping their favorite drink and taking a few puffs before heading back in.
