Fugu’s name stands for Freddy’s Unique Garden Union and, as the name suggests, the garden is the central location of this funky bar. The interior is made of wood, lightened up with white and blue couch cushions to make the wood pop. Caffeine addicts will especially love Fugu, as their cocktail menu focuses on offering innovative blends of tea and coffee cocktails. The menu changes seasonally and includes classics and Fugu’s specialties. Stop by and relax in the garden in the middle of the city, while trying out Fugu’s famous Passionate Ice Tea, based on earl grey infused dark rum.

Try the local cocktails from the current menu, such as Tyttebaer, a refreshing drink with gin, lavender and cranberries, or Barbarer, fruity vodka-based drink with rhubarb and rosemary.

The Barking Dog

The Barking Dog has a relaxed, old school pub atmosphere not usually associated with cocktail bars. The checkered floor, soft red couches and poster-covered walls create a cozy environment inviting you to sample their modern take on classy cocktails. Choose your drink based on its background story, which is written on the menu. Discover El Pistolero, Lollihops or Penicillin Highball. It’s also a perfect place to catch up with friends, as the music here is never too loud. Situated in Nørrebro district, The Barking Dog is one of Copenhagen’s hidden treasures.
