Witness The Belgian Dream Of An American City At Modernika

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 3 March 2016
The past of modern architecture – it’s something worth exploring. Rediscover how the American building style that reaches up to scrape the sky has influenced Belgium. Starting from the famous ‘Expo 58’, this ongoing exhibition at the Atomium shows how the faraway American dream became a foundation Belgium has built upon. So have a look and compare old and new pictures of buildings, sketches, models and building plans – and have a guess at what the future might have in store.

📅 Modernika exhibition: Mon 19th Oct- Sun 10th April, open daily from 10am-6pm

📍Avenue de l’Atomium, 1020 Brussels, Belgium
