Updated: 27 May 2016
In honor of World Refugee Day, BOZAR, the Brussels Jazz Orchestra, and Ancienne Belgique come together to support the campaign, Artists #withRefugees: an artistic project that aims to develop awareness for the refugee crisis through artistic projects and discussions. BOZAR begins the two-day event with a preview of A Lighthouse for Lampedusa, an exhibition by German artist Thomas Kilpper, followed by a panel discussion about the recent events in the area.

The following day, Ancienne Belgique (AB) will host a fundraising concert with leading acts such as the Brussels Jazz Orchestra and solo artists from the Syrian Big Band – a true testament showcasing the importance of music and culture to unite individuals.

📅 Mon 20th June 2016, concert begins at 8:30pm
