ART | Visit City Life In Congo At Wiels

Now showing at Wiels, the exhibition Urban Now is a dual project led by Congolese artist Sammy Baloji and anthropologist Filip De Boeck. Inspired by the interchange between past and present cities of the Congo, the duo teamed up to present an artistic and cultural presentation of how African communities bridge their colonial past for a better tomorrow, even through the hardships of poverty and violence.
