Couleur Café: A Multicultural Urban Festival

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 3 July 2016
Forget about Rock Werchter, that mastodon of Belgian music festivals. You don’t even need to set foot out of Brussels on the first weekend of July to enjoy one of the country’s most diverse musical celebrations. Reggae, rock, jazz, hip-hop, soul, Latin, dance, funk and a multicultural food market: Couleur Café likes nothing better than matching its metropolis’ flavor for diversity.

This year resounding international names like Jamie Woon and Claptone will take the stage at Tour & Taxis next to the steady presence of homegrown talent. Selah Sue, Black Box Revelation and an urban music speed date with the best rappers in the land – need we say more? Close out the worldliest weekend in the most fitting way possible by donning a white shirt and joining the crowd for a Holi party inspired by the traditional Indian color fest.

📅 Fri 1st – 3rd July 2016
