For three precious weeks a year, the Belgian monarchy opens up its magnificent greenhouses for the world to see. During the last two weeks of April and the first week of May you’ll have the opportunity to wander around over thirty domes of glass and steel, housing some of the rarest and most exotic tropical plants on the planet. This is especially perfect for those craving a real whiff of Springtime, since the richly colored flowers will be in full bloom. If you haven’t quite gotten enough royalty into your day yet, take a walk across the impressive grounds to Queen Elisabeth’s atelier. Be sure to arrive early, as the lines to get inside can be long!
