With more people turning towards fashion bloggers for everyday outfit inspiration, we’ve made you a list of talented Belgian fashionistas who have turned their blogs into personal lookbooks.

Polienne

Polienne is the style diary of Paulien Riemis, Antwerp blogger extraordinaire. When she turned to modeling at the age of 16 and discovered just how much fun fashion could be, the literature graduate started Polienne, which quickly became a go-to spot for local as well as international fashionistas for inspiration and style tips (it’s a well-known fact that Khloé Kardashian once used a Paulien picture for her site to praise the benefits of overalls). Paulien is one of the most prolific bloggers around and likes to keep readers in the loop on what her mood is, even if she’s just posting a funny or inspirational quote.

Fashionata

If you look at fashion as a way of escape, Fashionista is that rare Belgian blog that exudes luxury. Sofie Valkiers has gathered a loyal following with her combination of high fashion and her big appetite for travel, steadily creating that place on the internet you sneak a peek at during your lunch break to imagine you too are in an exotic Asian environment wearing flowing robes or stylish pinstriped overalls. Nothing wrong with a little daydreaming.

Yayzine

The third blogger on this list who’s based in Antwerp – it’s pretty clear that this city has the title of Belgian style capital locked down – Nathalie De Schepper used to be one-half of The Merrymakers, another Antwerp blog that did very well. Now she has taken her out-there sense of style to Yayzine, a development we can only say a big fat ‘YAY’ to if she keeps up with the lavish pictures and crazy outfits.

Hardwearing

Time for the men to get theirs, and they more than will at Hardwearing, Pieter Peulen and Joeri Evens’ minimalist style statement. There’s no clutter and not too much color in the world the male duo is creating here, with a durability factor feeding into everything they talk about. These two could be well on their way to fashion guru status.

Emma Gelaude

After almost a decade of blogging on My Fashion Blog, Emma Gelaude has recently launched emmagelaude.com. As one of the very first fashion bloggers in Belgium since 2007 and one who has the art of style down to the tee, she is often hailed as the country’s most influential fashion insider.

The Styling Dutchman

Alright, Annebeth may be technically Dutch, but she lives in Belgium, so we’re counting her blog as a win towards the smallest of the two countries. Her colorful bohemian outfits and chipper way of writing aren’t the only reason we want her in our camp either. The section of expertly written (Annebeth holds a masters in communication) feminist essays gets her a great deal of bonus points.

Since you are here, we would like to share our vision for the future of travel - and the direction Culture Trip is moving in.

Culture Trip launched in 2011 with a simple yet passionate mission: to inspire people to go beyond their boundaries and experience what makes a place, its people and its culture special and meaningful — and this is still in our DNA today. We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.

Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.

Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.

We know that many of you worry about the environmental impact of travel and are looking for ways of expanding horizons in ways that do minimal harm - and may even bring benefits. We are committed to go as far as possible in curating our trips with care for the planet. That is why all of our trips are flightless in destination, fully carbon offset - and we have ambitious plans to be net zero in the very near future.
