This nine-day Costa Rica adventure strikes the perfect balance between exploration and relaxation. Keep your eyes peeled for capuchin monkeys and jaguars as you walk along hanging bridges on a wildlife safari in Arenal National Park, before hiking through the jungle to La Fortuna waterfall, where you’ll be able to cool off in the rock pool below. You’ll also go white water rafting on the Balsa River, soak in hot springs, and have an opportunity to go ziplining through Monteverde Cloud Forest. In Tamarindo, a trendy town on the Pacific coast, you can learn to surf, relax your body and mind in a yoga class, or head out on an optional mountain biking adventure.
Trek through the jungle, swim in waterfalls and visit an elephant sanctuary on this 10-day trip through Northern Thailand. Scrambling up the peculiar Bua Tong Sticky Waterfall, traversing rice paddies via the Kho Kuu So bamboo bridge and following walking trails along the cliff tops on either side of the Pai Canyon are particular highlights, showing you a side of Thailand many travellers overlook in favour of more renowned destinations. You’ll also explore Tham Lod Cave – one of the largest cave systems in Thailand – soak in the Ngam Hot Springs, and climb to the summit of Thailand’s highest mountain, Doi Inthanon, for spectacular sunrise views.
Consider this the complete South Africa experience, as we go from the multicultural streets of Cape Town to the wilds of a game reserve across 11 splendid days along the Western Cape’s stunning Garden Route. After a cultural experience in Cape Town, and a cable car ascent of Table Mountain, we’ll head out into the country to explore epic limestone caverns, ostrich farms and the country’s vast wine region. We’ll hike around Tsitsikamma National Park, taking in the coastal views, biodiverse landscape and giant bridges. Finally, we’ll spend two nights at an incredible luxury game reserve, where you’ll get the chance to spot the Big Five on multiple game drives.
Think of Korea and you might think of the neon-lit streets of Seoul, or even the pungent seafood markets of Busan, but there’s so much natural splendour to enjoy here too. You’ll get to discover both sides of South Korea on this 10-day adventure, starting and ending in the capital city. You’ll get up close to the North Korean border at the Demilitarized Zone, hike the rich forested mountains of Seoraksan National Park, and cycle through the ancient city of Gyeongju. You’ll even get the chance to learn martial arts and meditation at a rural Buddhist Temple – all that and more, served with plenty of bibimbap and a hearty shot of soju.
