1. National Art Gallery, Tirana

The most famous art gallery in Tirana is the National Art Gallery. It is a huge building situated in the centre of the town, just few steps from the Pedonalja of Tirana, a beautiful pedestrian street full of cafés and restaurants, where some of the most important artworks in Albania are shown. The National Art Gallery is home to many works realized by some of the most famous Albanian artists of all times, such as Kolë Idromeno, Edi Hila, and Fatmir Haxhiu – just to name few. The gallery often hosts temporary exhibitions as well. Outside the museum, you can find The Cloud pavilion, a contemporary art installation created by the Japanese artist Sou Fujimoto.

2. FAB Gallery, Tirana

FAB Gallery, located in the Blloku district, the liveliest area of the capital, mostly hosts painting and photo exhibitions and promotes students of the university as well as young local artists.

Founded as an art studio in 1997 by the artist Edmond Rira, today Art Gallery E. Rira is one of the most prominent art galleries in Tirana and Albania.
