If you want to experience Costa Rica’s beautiful beaches, endless surf breaks, and water-related activities (snorkeling, scuba diving, paddle boarding, waterfall and hot spring soaking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, surfing, sailing, white water rafting, sun bathing, sunsetting, beach walking, and pool lounging), you’ll no doubt need a swimsuit. Here are ten Costa Rican swimwear companies designing and creating amazing swimwear at very affordable prices.

Morena Beachwear

Morena Beachwear designs and creates swimwear for women who want to be active in their bikinis while looking like a beach goddess. They use exclusively printed patterns and high quality lycra to make some of the best bathing suits in Costa Rica. There are styles for all different body types, activity interests, and color and pattern preferences. The Morena Beachwear shop is located in downtown Tamarindo, but you can also order online from their website.

Del Toro Bikinis

It is borderline impossible to walk into the Del Toro Bikini shop in Tamarindo or Jaco and only buy one bathing suit. The cute little shop is bursting with mesmerizing colors, patterns, and designs. They typically do not design the same exact bikini twice, unless it’s a solid colored one, which makes the bikini(s) that you purchase one of a kind. Designs take into account everything from high performance activities like surfing through to beach days or afternoons out on a sailboat. Different styles and patterns hit the shelves on a regular basis, so there is always something new in the shop. Be prepared to want to buy everything!
