Bangkok is always thriving with some of the best parties and performances that attract people from all over the country, and even the world. FESTIVAL | Cool Off At Waterzonic 2016

📅  Friday, September 30th – Saturday, October 1st

Dancing, good music, and a killer, lighted stage: the three things you will find at Waterzonic 2016. This two-day festival is packed full with 12 different DJs taking the stage to play some of their best tracks. These artists include Fedde Legrand, Slander, and Afrojack. Prepared to get wet at this epic festival.

FESTIVAL | Attend The Freedom Festival

📅  Saturday, October 1st

Get liberated at this year’s Freedom Festival. Some of the artists that will be taking Freedom Festival’s stage include Arak, Tar Paradox, and more. There will also be a panel discussion on freedom and what it means. The festival begins at 1 p.m.

SALE | Get The Best Deals At The BKK Community Garage Sale

📅  Saturday, October 1st – Sunday, October 2nd

You do not need a garage to have a garage sale. This weekend, be sure to check out the BKK community garage sale at Yogatique Bangkok. Used goods, clothing, toys and furniture are just some of the finds you will see at this sale. If you want to bring your own items, be sure to do so from September 24th to September 30th. All you have to do is set your highest and lowest price, then let Yogatique Bangkok do the rest. Everyone that brings items to sell will receive a coupon for a free yoga class, as well.

ART | Be Inspired By Artist Sonea Rattanaruangsup

📅  Thursday, October 6th

Artist Sonea Rattanaruangsup will be featured for her work, Between My Lines. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., she will debut her art opening at the Neilson Hays Library. The collection captures the impulsive nature of emotions. These emotions, when triggered, can change how we perceive ourselves.

MUSIC | PhatFunk & Absolut To Hold An Epic Show

📅  Friday, October 7th

PhatFunk & Absolut are bringing Commix (Metalheadz) to Bangkok. There will be an additional four different DJs performing throughout the night, including DJ Azek and DJ Instinct. The show will start at 9 p.m. and end at 2 a.m. There will also be an open bar by Absolut from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., so be sure to get there early.

FESTIVAL | Attend One Of The Biggest Festivals In Bangkok

📅  Friday, October 7th

The legendary music festival LUSH is back in Bangkok. There will be 32 DJs and live bands in seven different areas performing all evening. LUSH will be dominating the entire Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit at BTS Asok. There will be massive stages, dance floors, immersive art experiences, a rooftop golf range and even an indoor town market. The exact line-up will be announced mid-September.

Tickets: Early birds tickets are ฿700. Pre-sale tickets are ฿900. You can also purchase tickets at the games for ฿1,200. VIP pre-sale tickets are ฿1,400. All of these tickets include two free drinks before 10 p.m.

MARKET | Explore Bangkok Farmer’s Market

📅  Saturday, October 8th – Sunday, October 9th

Check out this farmer’s market in Bangkok, selling local products from local producers. You will find a plethora of noteworthy goods at the Bangkok Farmer’s Market at Gateway Ekamai, including handmade jewelry and accessories, organic food products, live music, and much more.  The market will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday and finish at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

PARTY | Climb Aboard This Unique Boat Party

📅  Saturday, October 8th

Zound Cruize, hosted by Mind Impact, is having an epic boat cruise party. This boat party’s theme is mask edition, and the first 150 guests get a free mask. Party and cruise along the Chao Phraya River. Boarding time is at 6 p.m. and will depart from Asiatique. Some of the DJs that will be rocking the boat this evening include Skinny Mark, Marco Wong, and Tong Apollo.

Tickets: Pre-sale tickets are ฿800, and regular tickets are ฿1,000 (both include a welcome drink). VIP tickets are ฿1,500, which includes unlimited beer, VIP seating, and VIP bar service.



MUSIC | Party All Night Long With Nakadia

Nakadia is conquering the electronic music world, one venue at a time. This time, she will be stopping to perform at one of Bangkok’s liveliest venues, RCA. This is not her first show in Bangkok, and it will certainly not be her last, either. Her schedule is filled with venues all over Europe, but she is stopping in Asia to speak at the International Music Summit to represent the Thai DJ scene. Luckily, she just so happened to add some shows to her itinerary. Do not miss an amazing performance by Nakadia. Doors open at 9 p.m.

DJ | Get Ready For A Night Of Endless Dancing And Epic Music

Kill the Buzz has played for some of the biggest crowds in the world. Now, he is coming to Bangkok to play at one of the city’s biggest nightclubs, Levels Club & Lounge. Kill the Buzz, real name Adithya Nanuru, started making music at the age of 10. He has played at Tomorrowland, Solaris Music Festival Canada, and more. Be sure to check out his beats at Levels Club & Lounge, one of the biggest nightclubs in Bangkok.

PARTY  | Dance All Night Long With Kolour

📅  Saturday, October 15th – Sunday, October 16th 

Kolour launched in November 2011, and it has been holding epic parties ever since. Kolour Warehouse Party is no exception. Singha Corporation is sponsoring and presenting the Kolour Warehouse Party this October. The festival will rage all day long, starting at 3 p.m. and ending at 1 a.m. With both indoor and outdoor stages, a craft beer garden decked out in Oktoberfest theme and two international artists, you are sure to have one memorable evening.

MUSIC | Throwback To The 80s

Steven Morrissey, former frontman of the band The Smiths, will be coming to Bangkok. The Smiths were popular in the 1980s, and Morrissey has since left the band to perform solo. This English singer, songwriter, and author will be performing at Moonstar Studio (Studio 1). The show will start at 9 p.m.

RUN | Get Your Tennis Shoes Ready For The Color Run

Celebrate health, happiness, and individuality at this year’s Color Run in Bangkok. Get your move on and have some fun while running in this exhilarating, colorful event. It is also known as the happiest 5k on the planet.

CONCERT | Electronic Music Is Coming To Bangkok

Kartell (Roche Musique) is returning to Live in RCA. If you love electronic music, this is the show to see. Kartell contributes a renewal of ‘French touch’ to electronic music. He has made collaborations with artists including Lianne la Havas and Karma Kid. The show starts at 9 p.m.

PARTY | Party Like It’s 1999

Get ready to party and travel back in time at the Dudesweet: Party of 1999. Eight performers are already scheduled to play at this event, with each floor of the building hosting different genres of artists. Some of the genres include rhythm and blues and alternative rock. PHOTOGRAPHY | See Southeast Asia Through The Eyes Of A Photographer

This black and white photographic exhibition, titled ‘Chasing the Light,’ will have you exploring Southeast Asia via photograph. The artist, David Longstreath, is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer. He first picked up a camera when he was 16 years old, and he has been enamored with photography ever since. Longstreath wakes up early to chase the light and get the best photographs early in the morning, wearing his best shoes and even tracking how far it is he explores with an app on his iPhone.

FESTIVAL | Blend In With The Locals At This Exclusively Thai Concert

While Bangkok is a popular destination for international music artists, it has its fair share of Thai bands putting on equally good performances. Be sure to check out Dib 2: Deep in Ballad, a festival consisting of Thai performances only. Artists include Poomjit, Jinta, and more.
