Over the last few years, Chiang Mai has become one of the top digital nomad meccas in the world. Since nomads began arriving in 2010, aptly timed with Chiang Mai’s “Creative City” initiative, the area has been flourishing with galleries, boutiques, hip bars, funky cafes and coworking spaces. The tropical climate, cheap cost of living, and rich culture are likely to keep Chiang Mai in the nomad hot seat for some time. If you’re a digital nomad and new to the city, you should find this list of the best coworking spaces helpful.
