Guests can also opt for private rooms or balcony seating where the lights of the city twinkle below. 6. Stream Restaurant and Lounge

For a relaxed atmosphere with city views, grab a drink at Stream Restaurant and Lounge. Simple, modern booths line the bar’s balcony, where guests can hang out in view of Taipei 101. While perusing the menu, guests will notice the bar’s signature drink, Caprihjito, a refreshing mix of Mojito and Caphrinia topped with blue mint spheres. For anyone feeling peckish, Stream is also known for its excellent fusion cuisine. The menu features Stream’s twist on classic American wings and burgers, as well as European, Latin American, and Japanese dishes.

With a reputation as one of Taipei’s hottest clubs, Room 18 is hip, loud and electric. The club actually consists of two separate spaces, Room 18 and 18 Lover. The former is dedicated to the club’s dance floor, with neon lights and hip hop music pumping throughout. After sweating on the dance floor, guests can wander over to the 18 Lover room, which is outfitted with tall potted plants and comfy sofas. Though the club is only open on Friday, Saturday and Wednesday, Room 18 draws crowds with its frequent rotation of performers and guest DJs. Ladies can get in free every Wednesday.

Situated in the Neo19 shopping complex, at the center of Xinyi’s commercial district, this lounge is an ideal place to meet up with friends. The bar seeks to become an essential part of its guests social lives, from casual hangouts to special celebrations. In addition to high-quality cocktails, the menu also features western food options including an all-day brunch. This venue is crowded on the weekends and is the first stop for many before a long night of clubbing.

On weekdays, Inhouse is the perfect place to grab a quiet drink after work. But during the weekend, the lounge transforms into a packed bar electrified with techno music. Positioned in Neo19, the same building as some of the other bars on this list, Inhouse is conveniently accessible from Xinyi’s most popular area.
