Sky Lounge Stellar Garden

This laid-back lounge is located on the 33rd floor of the Prince Park Tower Hotel. Its location right on the doorstep of Tokyo Tower means the floor-to-ceiling windows offer unrivaled views of downtown. Sky Lounge is a favorite not only among hotel guests, but with those doing business in the area as well.

Propaganda Shot Bar

Propaganda Shot Bar appeals to the city’s youth, and is popular with both the expat and local crowd. This lively bar has happy hour from 5 until 9 PM, when drinks are just 500 yen each. It’s lively even on weeknights, but on weekends local DJs bring the energy up another notch.

The name of this bar is inspired by the unique ‘scientific’ way the cocktails are created – a centrifuge and rotary evaporator are just a few of the tools used here. By thinking outside the box, the owner is able to marry unique flavors like wasabi and blue cheese with high-quality spirits. Mixed drinks here never have to be boring.

Fujizakura prides itself not only on its impressive selection of beer, but on its refined menu, too. It’s owned by the Yamanashi Brewery, a company known for their German-style lagers. The bar is quiet and appeals to local, working professionals.

Despite being one of the largest pubs in Tokyo, Hobgoblin retains its cozy atmosphere. It’s owned by Wychwood Brewery in the UK. The interior has all the charms of an authentic British pub: hardwood décor, darts, comfortable seating, and live sports on the big screens. Hobgoblin has a wider selection of hardier fare than the nearby bars.
