If the beachfront pool, flanked by verdant tropical plants, wasn’t convincing enough, the chocolate-espresso martini will likely do the trick. Como Uma Canggu is right on Echo Beach, a volcanic black sand shoreline for surfing, sun tanning, and socializing with a coconut in hand. Ocean-view rooms and plenty of wellness facilities — including two yoga studios and a spa — make it a serious place for rejuvenation.
