Laruga Glaser and Purple Valley are joining forces to create an exclusive 30 day challenge, throughout the month of October! The first prize is a two week stay at Purple Valley during Laruga's retreat in March 2018. (3rd – 16th March 2018, on a shared room basis) The runner-up prize will receive a 10% discount on any courses during the 2017/18 season. Each day, we will post 1 short video on both Purple Valley and Laruga's instagram. With each small video clip we will post a short written extract from Guruji's Yoga Mala. We would like to ask you to perform the asana demonstrated by Laruga, but also read the accompanying quote and take a moment to reflect….. then write a few words relating to it with your video clip. This may simply be a first thought, an emotion, or a short personal reflexion. The asanas chosen are selected from the primary, intermediate and advanced series of Ashtanga. Do not let this scare you. You may be surprised by what you can actually achieve… and of course all modifications are welcome. In fact, we can all learn lots from each other. The rules for participation are very simple. You must perform the same asana as Laruga – a modification is fine. Make a short video (or photo) of the asana and post it on your instagram, tagging both @larugayoga and @purplevalleyyoga . To be a part of the entire the challenge, you must participate for 30 days. Please note that the first prize is a room in shared accommodation (double), on a full board basis (3 vegetarian meals and daily yoga classes). Flights and transfers not included.
