Gyaan Adab

Known mostly for its book readings and poetry sessions, Gyaan Adab also hosts art exhibitions in the indoor space. Located in Kalyani Nagar, Gyan Adab hosts exhibitions of abstract paintings, murals, and conceptual sculptures. The place also hosts workshops on painting, mask making, and sculpting.

The Monalisa Kalagram

This culture and art venue is probably best known for its annual Dastakari Bazaar—a market showcasing the art, craft, and textiles from various parts of the country. The gallery hosts documentary screenings, classical and contemporary dance performances, art and photography exhibitions, and art workshops on its sprawling lawns and huge halls.

Tilting Art Gallery

The Ishanya Mall has set up the Tilting Art Gallery to try and encourage visitors to get interested in art. The art showcased at the gallery ranges from abstract to straightforward to devotional. In December last year, the mall hosted the first Ishanya International Art Festival. It was a four-day event that acted as a platform for artists, art galleries, art buyers, and connoisseurs to exchange ideas.

Located on Bhandarkar Institute Road, Art2Day is one of the best and the oldest private galleries in Pune dedicated to the promotion of young talent. The gallery provides a platform for new and upcoming artists to showcase their work alongside that of veteran artists. The 200-square-feet hall offers a massive amount of display space. Besides art exhibitions, the gallery also hosts craft activities, workshops on painting and photography, lectures, audio-video shows, and training sessions. Visitors can also buy gifts and art and craft products.

Darpan Art Gallery

Another excellent place to showcase artwork in Pune, Darpan Art Gallery is where you can get your fill on all things artistic—from paintings to sketches to sculptures and craft work. Located in Gokhalenagar, the gallery was established in 2009 and is now one of the most sought-after galleries among artists. Featuring refreshing displays, the gallery is known to have a very efficient curator who encourages both artists and visitors to come forward and appreciate art.

Bliss Art Gallery

Situated in Koregaon Park, Bliss Art Gallery is a little difficult to locate, but it enthralls visitors with the events that it regularly hosts. The gallery hosts exhibitions of paintings, photographs, and sculptures. Since the gallery has two halls, sometimes visitors are also lucky enough to see the works of two different artists on the same day.
