The annual wine and music fest at Sula Vineyards is back! The Nashik fest has grown in recognition due to its incredible lineup of artists performing live and amazing activities like wine tasting, grape stomping, food massages, a Bazaar, etc. This year, the event is taking place the weekend of February 6th and 7th..

The unique fest started in 2008, as a one-day event. In 2010, the popularity of the fest burgeoned with the presence of an elite audience and a stellar musical lineup. Owing to the incredible response from the visitors, the event was extended to a two-day event starting in 2012. The fest now witnesses participation from across the country and features international brand partnerships as well.

Starting in 2013, the SulaFest Bazaar was added to add to the overall fun and gaiety of the event. This added a number of fun activities like tattooing, tarot reading, massages, etc.

What to Do

Music Festival

Historically, the SulaFest has witnessed the best of the international circuit playing at their Gourmet Music Festival, and this year promises to live up to the expectations. The lineup for 2016 includes bands like Kailasa, Made in Barcelona, Delhi 2 Dublin, The Cat Empire and many more solo performers.

Check the 2016 Music Schedule and the list of all artists who are scheduled to play this year.

Wine lovers

There are special tastings and tours for wine connoisseurs at the Tasting Room and the rustic Tasting Cellar. The wine from Sula Vineyards is really popular and has won a number of recognitions and awards. SulaFest 2016 has teamed with Hardys, a wine partner, for more selection.

Non-wine lovers

The SulaFest 2016 has also partnered with beverage brands like Cointreau, Jack Daniel’s, and Jagermeister to cater to those who do not really care for wine so much. There is a whole range of other beverages to enjoy along with the music.

The Bazaar

In between enjoying the wine and music, the SulaFest Bazaar provides one with ample opportunities to relax with foot massages or have some fun with grape stomping or enjoy other fun activities like tarot reading or tattooing.

To grab a bite to eat, the 2016 event includes The Bombay Food Truck, Social, Olive Bar & Kitchen and Woodside Inn. SulaFest has also planned a gourmet dining experience this year, with a special menu made of organic produce from Sula’s farms.

Where to Stay

There are various accommodations in the Nashik Sula region where one can plan a stay for the two-day event. For the young music and party lovers, Let’s Camp Out is putting up 350 tents just 300 meters from the amphitheater. Eventraveler has some great accommodation packages as well.

If budget is no constraint, the Taj and Ibis are just 30 minutes away from the vineyard and can make for a great luxury weekend. A complete list of all hotels near the fest location are available here.
