India’s history of medical and healing practices goes back a long, long way, and is quite unique. From physical to psychological health, the word tabiyat (meaning health) covers the whole gamut. And this is what the exhibition explores – the various ways in which the Indian society practices healing and well-being. One highlight of this exhibition is the effort to dissociate Ayurveda medicine from its religious connotations, and to look at it for what it stands for primarily: health.
