Whether you are a diehard romantic or a nature lover, the beauty of sunsets is undeniable. The magical view of the setting sun and changing colours of the sky never gets old. There are many lakes, mountains and gardens in Bangalore where you can enjoy watching a peaceful sunset. We reveal the best spots in the city to make a sunset stop-off.

Ulsoor Lake

Right in the middle of bustling Bangalore city is this man-made lake. There are several spots around Ulsoor Lake to enjoy watching the sky turn from orange to red during sunset. The reflection of all that majestic beauty in the lake’s water looks stunning and makes for great photographs.

13th Floor

13th Floor Bar is a lounge in Bangalore that treats its customers to the most beautiful sky view in the city. Needless to say, dusk is one of the best times to be at the bar. You can enjoy your drink while looking at the sky’s changing hues. 13th Floor Bar is also a great place for a romantic rendezvous.

Kaikondrahalli Lake

Kaikondrahalli Lake is popular for birdwatching and its jogging track. But the beautiful lake also makes for a great sunset spot. The verdant surroundings make it one of the most pleasant places to park yourself and enjoy the natural beauty at dusk.

If you are willing to go that extra mile for a fantastic, unforgettable view of the sunset, then just 100 kilometers north of Bangalore lies the beautiful rocky Siddarabetta mountain. An easy trek is worth the effort for the sheer magic that unfolds in the sky and the joy of watching vast, lush green landscape from the mountain top.

Haseraghatta Lake

In the north-west of Bengaluru city, Haseraghatta Lake is one of the best sunset spots you will ever visit within a city. The peaceful lake offers a windy climate and verdant surroundings too. A good place to park yourself would be near the pump house at the vast lake.
