Weekends in Mumbai are undoubtedly fun filled, and the city of Mumbai is rightly recognized as one that never sleeps. From lounges to clubs to nature, Mumbai offers you everything you could ever want for a fun weekend.

A stroll at the Marine Drive

Nothing can make you feel more rejuvenated than a walk on the scenic Marine Drive. With the fresh breeze and the relaxing sound of the waves, this is the perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend, away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds.

Binge on delicious food at Candies

Candies is not your typical eatery — the place is huge with an enigmatic atmosphere, but is relaxing at the same time. Candies is a must-visit for those looking for yummy soups and sandwiches, and it’s a great spot if you’re looking to spend a little less money.

Go local at Juhu beach

This relaxing spot is a must-visit for everyone who wants to explore the other side of Mumbai. Juhu Beach is always crowded, but still manages to feel serene, and you can try lots of great Mumbai dishes on the beach, including golas and pav bhaji.

Day out at Imagica

If you want to get away from Mumbai’s crowded malls and busy streets, head over to the nearby amusement park, Imagica. The place is new and young, with loads of fun filled rides. Though it can be a bit pricey, it’s a perfect spot for the whole family.

Rendezvous with nature at Sanjay Gandhi National Park

Had enough of the busy, hot city? Make your way to Sanjay Gandhi National Park to be one with nature. The national park is scenic, well maintained, and always has a lovely, shady tree for you to relax under with a book and a cool drink.

Zone out at Café Mondegar

One of the most historic places in Mumbai, Café Mondegar is purely blissful. This spot strikes the perfect balance between classy and fun. This ancient eatery has a great menu, including delicious sandwiches and thirst-quenching drinks.

Shopping spree at Colaba

You can’t possibly get bored on the streets of Colaba. Colaba Causeway, as it’s known in Mumbai, is a noted haven for shopaholics — the street is famous for junk jewelry, faux designer handbags, and all sorts of knick-knacks.

Say some prayers at Siddhivinayak or Haji Ali

Culture Trip launched in 2011 with a simple yet passionate mission: to inspire people to go beyond their boundaries and experience what makes a place, its people and its culture special and meaningful — and this is still in our DNA today. We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.

Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.

Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.

We know that many of you worry about the environmental impact of travel and are looking for ways of expanding horizons in ways that do minimal harm - and may even bring benefits. We are committed to go as far as possible in curating our trips with care for the planet. That is why all of our trips are flightless in destination, fully carbon offset - and we have ambitious plans to be net zero in the very near future.
