Explore A Hong Kong Everyday Through Art

Picture of Michaela Fulton
Updated: 27 July 2016
This exhibition explores the relationship between everyday life and the art that is inspired from it through the works of three Hong Kong artists: Brainrental, Elvis Yip Kin Bon and Joyce Lunch Yuet Ching.

With a range of intriguing items – from cardboard laptops to ceramic cleaning products – these appear to be nothing more than ordinary objects. However, if you take a closer look, you’ll come to realise that each object is a comment and critique on society, whilst also conjuring a feeling of nostalgia with their many objects of the past.

📅 on until Saturday, August 20th

📍 Karin Weber Gallery, G/F 20 Aberdeen Street, Central, Hong Kong
