The Californian experience is provided here, with dishes that have been inspired by many places, from Vietnam to Thailand. The ingredients used are fresh and locally sourced, whilst there are some great cocktails to try too. There are a few decent barbecue pits by the beach as well. If you want to enjoy a nice and relaxing day out with some good grub this is definitely the spot for you.
The Beach Club BBQ can be found in Sai Kung. You will experience delicious barbecue food in a delightful setting that overlooks the coastline. This isn’t a restaurant, it is a place where you can barbecue your own food to enjoy. There is no food or time limit, so feel free to bring as much grub as you like and spend a good few hours with friends or family. This is a good place for a day out because you are located on the beach and next to a water sports centre, so there is plenty to do.
This is a popular spot during the summer days. There are more than 30 concrete pits and they are all completely free for people to use. So, bring some food with you and barbecue on the sand in order to enjoy a true rustic experience. If you find yourself unable to nab one of the free pits, don’t worry, as you will be able to rent one from a nearby kiosk if necessary, although this will of course cost you.
