Le Procope Lounge
This retro speakeasy echoes those in Paris. Le Procope Lounge is one of the few single malt whiskey bars in Tianjin. The interiors are pared back, with exposed brick walls, ladders for high shelves and dim, ambient lighting. This stylish bar is a chic place to enjoy a bourbon on the rocks, but if you’re not a whiskey drinker, there’s also a selection of beer, wine and cocktails.
The place for devoted whiskey enthusiasts is The Tianjin Single Malt Club. Though membership is free, you contribute to the club by introducing your own bottle to their Whiskey Library. In return, you receive delicious whiskeys at members’ prices. This is an invitation-only establishment, but the club is open to whiskey lovers of all nationalities and ages. The owner Sylvia is very welcoming, encouraging everyone inside to make new friends.

Bourbon comes highly recommended here, although it’s not the only reason to pay a visit to Oscar House. Made-to-order drinks are guaranteed to please.
