WE Brewery is perhaps Tianjin’s finest micro craft brewery. Not just a good place for beers, WE Brewery is frequented for its fantastic Western style foods, burgers, chicken wings, fish and chips, and of course, french fries. The establishment is super hidden and radiates bourgeoisie. WE Brewery is the best place to find expats, too. New brews are added regularly.

These colorfully-backdropped taps contradict the dim-lit industrial space that is the sister of WE Brewery. A similar menu and brew selection, WE Taproom is also popular for its affordable prices and charming host of an owner. The hamburger is phenomenal.

Freedom and Power Brewery
This hole-in-the-wall brewery feels as if you have gone round to a friends house for drinks (and that is a good thing!) Serving locally made Chinese foods and brews, this nimble little pub has a grand name but it does not fail to deliver.
This full-service restaurant makes its own beer. The first floor is for drinks and the second floor is for grub. #7 Brewery serves up a variety of German cuisine; like Pork Cutlet and Pork Knuckle, and brews stouts and IPAs that are a perfect accompaniment. The food is reasonably priced.
This well-lit, neon decorated taproom even has its own nutcracker decoration and a pool table. Its a place you want to go with pals to catch up after work, JW Taproom is one of the friendliest micro breweries in Tianjin and features fruit-flavored beers, like cherry and strawberry infused brews.
One of the original fixtures on Tianjin’s micro-brewery scene, Prague Restaurant was crafting beers long before it became the phenomenon it is today. Though a bit pricier than its rivals, you’ll have nothing less than a one hundred percent genuine Czech experience, complete with cold light and dark homemade drafts.
Not far from the Five Great Avenue, this homely little bar is located in the Gongyan stadium. You might even get the feeling you are in America in this quaint establishment. Pair your beers with Beer Cool’s nachos or potato chips, and dare to try one of their 9.9% craft brews.

Dovish Brewing Restaurant
On your way home from Tianjin is this grandma-owned restaurant/brewery. Dovish is conveniently located inside the airport, making it the most convenient stop for a fresh pre-flight brew. There’s a scrumptious international menu to go with it.
