The premiere, traditional folk culture tea house chain in Tianjin, this is the place to come to witness live Crosstalk. The Mingliu Teahouse showcases the Tianjin-grown comedy style. Expect to see some of China’s most venerable performers at one of their multiple locations in the city. First built in 1991 and designed by the wife of Lao She, a famous Chinese writer, this teahouse’s fame was driven by traditional folk culture. No meals are served here, only tea, coffee, and snacks.
