Chanel has opened a Coco Café in Shanghai for 12 days only, and the city’s fashionable residents are already lining up around the block for it.

Over the course of 12 days, visitors can enjoy their coffee with a little more luxury than usual. The Coco Café serves a selection of drinks and snacks, as well as a range of Chanel products. The opening follows on from other pop up Chanel Cafés that have opened in Singapore, Tokyo and London.

The move is another example of luxury brands honing in on the power of social media in China, where the coffee cups alone will ensure ample coverage on Instagram, Weibo and WeChat.

Residents of Shanghai who haven’t already should make sure to head down to the café for a fashionable and refreshing start to the morning – just be prepared to queue!
