Despite being Cambodia’s second largest city, Battambang has a laid-back charm, and tourism is yet to truly boom. This means the variety of accommodation is relatively limited for now, however, there are still plenty of spots to spend the night. Here are the best budget beds for backpackers in Battambang.

This family-run hotel is centrally located and offers all the creature comforts you may need. With 42 rooms, the rooftop features a restaurant and bar, with cheaper dorm accommodation. And while it may not have a pool, the relatively recent addition of a hot tub kind of makes up for it.
