The stylish spot also has a swimming pool for those wanting to avoid the creatures of the sea. Cocktails, draft beers and other drinks are available beach- or pool-side, with happy hour running from 4.30pm to 6.30pm daily.

Every Saturday night, travellers descend on Otres Village for the weekly night market. Intimate, the market features a series of stalls selling trinkets, clothes, souvenirs and handicrafts, live music and entertainment that continues into the early hours, and stacks and stacks of food stalls, serving up cuisine from all corners of the globe, including Cambodia, India, Japan, Russia and Mexico.
