Waseefa opened the HSE Lifestyle Emporium to showcase her own designs as well as a range of items from local designers, and the store is filled with unique fashion pieces aimed at the modern day woman.
Stitch & Steel, founded by Linda Gale, specialises in quirky designs made from authentic fabrics sourced from all over Africa. Special attention is given to detail and items are truly one-of-a-kind. Stitch & Steel sells women’s clothing but also has a fun men’s range, including ties and patterned shirts.

Convoy in Melville is a collaboration between six South African fashion designers. The boutique, in Melville’s Bamboo Centre, is a beautifully styled space. Labels like Selfi, Hannah Lavery, Anmari Honiball and MerweMode are for sale, allowing locals to purchase some of the most coveted pieces all in one spot.

Vintage Zionist is the place to pick up a tailor-made, timeless leather jacket. The boutique stocks a variety of clothing pieces but the jackets are really what it’s all about. The one-of-a-kind jackets are made by recycling second-hand leather jackets and each one is unique.
