Agadir is one of the most popular beach towns in Morocco, with its own port, called Marina by locals. This is an incredible spot to try freshly caught fish from the Atlantic at very decent prices, as well as tagines and other traditional Moroccan foods. Here are the 10 top cheap eats in Agadir.

1. L'Anice

This amazing bakery/café is one of the best places to have lunch in Agadir. The choice is very broad, as they can serve eggs with khlii, French pastries, Moroccan pastries and biscuits, fresh mint tea, salads and much more. It is very spacious and quite modern, with a terrace area perfect for warm days.

2. Restaurant Plage Bleue

Sitting alongside the sandy beach in Agadir’s main tourist area, Restaurant Plage Bleue is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The members of staff are attentive and the service is speedy. Order a pot of mint tea or a fresh fruit juice to complement the various fish and meat dishes.

A highly rated restaurant in Agadir, Café del Mar not only serves delicious seafood, but its beachfront location and outdoor terrace make it a terrific place to watch the sun go down. The atmosphere is romantic, the service is good and the food is great. Beautifully presented dishes include salmon and avocado salad, battered fish with chips, sardines with mozzarella, tomato and pesto, herb and lemon calamari and grilled fish with a colourful assortment of roasted Mediterranean vegetables.
