Morocco’s economic heart of Casablanca is home to varied interesting attractions, many spots to eat and drink, and an abundance of places to shops. Fashion-conscious and stylish travellers should check out these boutiques when visiting Casablanca.

1. Shana

Store

The Spanish Shana has a boutique in the Morocco Mall and another in the Maarif part of the city. While the online store sells clothes for both men and women, the store focuses on women’s fashion. Customers will mainly find casual day-to-day pieces, such as jeans, leggings, t-shirts, hoodies and sweaters. The chain prides itself on providing fashion at affordable prices.

2. Boutique Songo

Boutique Songo sells a wide range of women’s clothing, with both casual and smart pieces in various sizes. Clothes are mainly in a Western style, though fairly modest so as not to be out of place in Moroccan society. Trousers, long tops and full sleeves are the norm, with many items making a statement with their bold patterns and bright colours.

5. Pink Caftan

The kaftan is a tunic-like garment that originated in Arabic society. It is a traditional item of clothing in Morocco. Although many Moroccan ladies only wear kaftans indoors for special occasions, or to attend special events, Moroccan designers have worked hard to promote the kaftan to global buyers. The kaftan’s popularity has spread, with international visitors buying the traditional items to wear in the country and to take home as souvenirs. There are now many boutiques specialising in kaftans and other traditional items of Moroccan clothing, such as the two-piece takchita. Pink Caftan serves domestic and international customers, offering a wide range of exquisitely embroidered and elegant garments.

Ripped jeans, slogan t-shirts, checked shirts and denim dresses are a few of the staples younger women will find at Kikiriki.

Pronovias is a top choice for high-class wedding dresses, cocktail dresses and evening gowns. Indeed, TV personalities have worn creations by Pronovias to attend events such as the Oscars. Designed to match customers’ preferences, the boutique’s pieces often reflect solid traditions with modern twists. The boutique has a wide assortment of accessories, such as gloves, veils, shoes and hair pieces, to ensure that all clients dazzle on the occasions that matter most.
