Osu is where a majority of Accra’s best restaurants are located, and it is also very well known for this night time seafood bazar that is the Osu night market. Fresh octopus, prawns, crabs and white fish are spiced and grilled in the open air and sold with traditional Ghanian dishes like Banku and Kenkey. This market is a good place to experience street seafood at very affordable prices and to dine like a local.

You can also enjoy seafood in Accra whilst getting work done at Jamestown Café. This cafe is a neatly designed co-working space, operated by architects, where creative work is encouraged by the lovely art pieces on display. Their menu features charcoal grilled tilapia and deep fried crab. Work and gaze out of the window at the beautiful Atlantic ocean.
