1. Dip N Dip

This one is on the top of the list, go there and dip in to the finest Belgian chocolate covering different types of dessert. From brownies, chocolate fondue and crepes to waffles and chocolate mousse, there’s so much to try. The place is usually crowded, so you’ll probably have to wait a while before finding a place to sit.

2. House of Cocoa

A group of well-chosen chocolate brands from around the world to fit every taste are on the shelves at House of Cocoa. While there’s plenty to choose from, you’ve got to try the molten cake and hot chocolate there, they’re the best. With only two branches in Heliopolis and New Cairo, the place is mostly crowded, so you’ll have to be prepared to stay on the waiting list for some time.

3. Frozzy Twist

Time for exceptional ice cream! Frozzy Twist, the first place in Egypt to offer fresh ice cream in addition to introducing unique flavors. From cheesecake flavors, candies, chocolates, mixed berries, bubble gum, jelly cola, marshmallow to different eastern sweets flavors from like ‘kunafa ana basbosa’, you’ll get to choose your own flavor and watch it get prepared in front of you. 5. Batates (Potato) & Zalabeya

With many branches in Egypt, Batates & Zalabeya offers fast snacks — mainly potato and ‘zalabeya’ (a kind of a dessert made by deep frying flour batter in circular shapes then soaking in syrup). The zalabeya is available with different toppings including Nutella, strawberry, white chocolate and sugar. It’s so worth the try, especially the one soaked in Nutella.

6. Mandarein Kouider

Up for oriental sweets? This is the perfect place. From ‘kunafa’, ‘basbosa’ to baklava and other different kinds of dessert that will blow your mind. With many branches in Egypt, the unique taste of Mandarein Kouider has been making making people happy since 1926 when the place first opened.
