It’s easy to find decent restaurants in Yaoundé, but some have built a solid reputation serving local and international dishes. Boutique restaurants all over the city have added new experiences to dining, with some going all the way, with live music, games for kids and the opportunity to fish your own lunch.

This mini village in the middle of town comes complete with trees, handcrafted furniture, chirping birds and one of the most exciting menus in Cameroon. Food is cooked in an open kitchen, with pizza and bread baked on the spot. They serve tasty salads and beef dishes, while international acts regularly join their live band.

Chez Wou
