Before checking out some of the great bars and restaurants in the area, have a look at our list of the best things to do in Bondi.

Sculpture by the Sea

The Sculpture by the Sea exhibition is an annual exhibition of modern sculpture art by local artists as well as artists from around the world. This artistic collaboration is normally a two or three-week event that takes place in a temporary two-kilometre sculpture park located along the coast between the well-known Bondi Beach and Tamarama Beach. Sculpture by the Sea generally takes place just before the start of summer, when the weather isn’t too hot, but the sun is out, making it the perfect time to take a stroll along the coast.

Go Shopping

If you find yourself in Bondi when the weather takes a turn for the worst, and the dream of a beautiful sunny day on the eastern coast of Australia is ruined thanks to some clouds and a bit of rain, don’t worry too much, because you can still have a great day checking out some of the Australian fashion brands and designers at Westfield Bondi. The Bondi Junction Shopping Centre is one of the biggest in the country and has a great range of boutique fashion retailers and some of Australia’s favourite designers.

Surf

Australia is a country completely surrounded by oceans, and there are many beaches in which to swim and surf. One beach that is perfect for both beginners and advanced surfers is Bondi Beach. This beach is the perfect example of an eastern Australian beach, but if you’d like to go surfing somewhere without the crowds that you can sometimes find at Bondi Beach, there are a couple of beaches not too far south. You can take a walk along the coast to Tamarama Beach or Bronte Beach, where the crowds are smaller but the surf is still great.

Bondi Golf And Diggers Club

Just a short walk north of Bondi Beach you’ll be able to find the Bondi Golf and Diggers Club, which is a 9-hole golf course that is open all year round. It is located right on the coast and is known as a golf course with some of the best views in the world. While working your way through this golf course, you’ll have to be sure to take in the magnificent views over the ocean as well as the incredible views over Bondi and the Sydney CBD In the distance.
