Meanwhile, live music and a DJ enhance the Caribbean feel on Friday nights. Atmosphere is of extreme importance to this local favorite – if you’re lucky, the owner Delicia may even pop by your table to say hello.

Zaz offers a fusion of contemporary and innovative cuisine in Boston. Recipes are inspired by international cultures and given an American twist. It has great service and is a kid-friendly place; take-out and delivery is also available if you are on the go. The food is always very fresh and the interesting menu makes Zaz a must-visit.

You can order a custom sandwich with ingredients of your choosing.

D Coal Pot is different in that it is a Trinidadian restaurant located in Boston. The food is authentic and fresh, and regularly praised by native ‘Trinis’ as no imitation. Takeout is also available for customers on the go, or if the tiny restaurant is full. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant’s owner, Dave, is usually on hand to greet new customers and welcome back old ones. Without a doubt, D Coal Pot is one of the best Caribbean restaurants in the city.

River Grille’s menu is divided into a few equally delicious sections: pizza, subs, salads, and seafood. One of the restaurant’s main strengths, besides the excellent service, is the meat. Fresh chicken is roasted and marinated daily, the steak tips are fantastic, and the 100 percent Angus burgers are available in 4oz and 6oz portions. The restaurant is very family friendly, and has remained largely unchanged in its 20+ years of serving the freshest food in Hyde Park.
