Funky Buddha Brewery

Funky Buddha Brewery is a 40,000 square-foot production brewery, located in Oakland Park, near Ft Lauderdale. It is currently the largest brewery in South Florida. This unique facility also features a 3,000 square-foot taproom where special releases and brewery exclusive beers are available on tap. The taproom hosts food trucks every night, with special dinners and beer pairings. Try the Maple Bacon Coffee Porter.

Located in Tampa, Cigar City Brewing is an inventive neighborhood brewery offering tours and a tasting room featuring delicious craft beers and renowned cigars. Capitalizing on the Latin culture and tobacco-manufacturing history of Tampa Bay, Cigar City highlights this on its labels, its beer names and in its recipes. Many of the beers it produces, like the Jai Alai IPA, Improv Oatmeal Rye India-Style Brown Ale, Cubano-Style Espresso Brown Ale, also include local ingredients of Florida.

Doug Dozark at Peg’s Cantina created his own new venture, Cycle Brewing, where he is joined by his talented brew team: Eric Trinosky and Kristina Kirk. The beer-making innovations of Cycle Brewing offer free tastings, sidewalk seating and a taproom chock full of craft beer. They’re most acclaimed craft brews are the Rare D.O.S. and Rare D.O.S. Imperial Stouts.

3 Daughter’s Brewing

3 Daughter’s Brewing is a family owned brewery with a large tasting room that offers craft brews, games and music. Hailing from Lexington, Kentucky, the Harting family relocated and expanded their brewing skills to the Sunshine State. Every Thursday is discounted growler day at 3 Daughters Brewing.

7venth Sun Brewery

Devon Kreps and Justin Stange held the grand opening of 7venth Sun on January 7, 2012. Ms Kreps graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Fermentation Science and later brewed at Anheuser-Busch, where she left to become the Production Manager at Sweetwater Brewing in Atlanta. Justin Strange brewed at Sweetwater Brewery and Cigar City in Tampa. Belgian-style, IPAs, spirit barrel-aged beer, and oak-aged sour beer are the specialties here. Beer to try: Key Lime Sublime.

Tequesta Brewing Company

Tequesta Brewing Company is South Florida’s first micro brewery to hold a silver medal title from the Great American Beer Festival. This Organically Certified Brewer offers over 40 different specialty beers a year. The beers at Tequesta Brewing range from light and smooth to rich and creamy to sharp and hoppy. The most popular on tap is the Der Chancellor Kolsch.

Oyster City Brewing Company

Oyster City Brewing Company was founded by a group of folks who all have a shared passion for fine wine and craft beer. They have created three unique Oyster City brews: Apalach IPA, Hooter Brown Tupelo Honey Ale and Mill Pond Dirty Blonde Ale. Seasonal beers are also available, and Oyster City Brewing Company brews craft beer seven days a week.
