Ride a Boat in Golden Gate Park

The Golden Gate Park is huge, so why not conserve you energy and take a boat? Sail across stunning Stow Lake and soak up nature. The lake is a delightful oasis in the middle of the park and well worth investigating during your visit. Ducks, seagulls and turtles abound, so don’t forget to bring your camera.

The Presidio Walk

Located in the north of the city, the Presidio Park is surprisingly close to Richmond district. This area is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and is known as an historic area. The Walt Disney Family Museum is located in this area too, so Disney fans might want to put this on the to-do list.

Explore the Foodie Side of Town

Thanks to its very convenient location, there are numerous restaurants in this trendy neighborhood. This district is also known as the home of Russian cuisines. Take the oppurtunity to enjoy the Russian restaurants, bakeries, tea rooms and more. In addition, Korean food and Japanese restaurants are very popular in this buzzing neighborhood. A big bonus to the already bountiful Richmond District is that the big museums have settled here. In the Golden Gate Park, on the other side of Academy of Sciences, there is one of the most stunning art museums in the city – De Young Museum. If you are on your way to The Presidio, you should swing by Legion of Honor, another five-star museum with gorgeous views and architecture.
