Diners are always great places to get your food fix and The George Street Diner is no exception. Located on the corner of Richmond and George, the diner is a cozy, yet upbeat stop. Their extensive menu offers a variety of sandwiches, eggs, and burgers, but what we’re here for are the pancakes. The meal comes with three pancakes and organic maple syrup; go for the traditional pancakes or sweeten things up with chocolate chips or blueberries.

4. Fran’s Restaurant

Restaurant, American

If you don’t have time to grab your pancakes for breakfast, you’re in luck. Fran’s Restaurant serves breakfast all day, every day. Pancakes come in a variety of flavors including original, banana, chocolate, walnut, or mixed berries. If you’re feeling extra hungry, choose one of the many sides they have such as home fries, fruit, or bacon.

5. Eggspectation

Eggspectation

You may eggspect this establishment to only serve eggs, but that is far from the truth. Eggspectation has a variety of pancake choices too. Try the classic buttermilk pancakes, or get a yummy addition such as chocolate chips, blueberries, or strawberries. A little more outside the box are their banana walnut pancakes or their pancakes Pagé (pancakes served with fresh fruit and crème anglaise).

If that isn’t enough, add one of their sides of sausage or Butcher’s Crack.

8. Mildred’s Temple Kitchen

If there is one thing you have to try at Mildred’s Temple Kitchen, it’s their pancakes. If you have time to spare, they are totally worth the wait as they are cooked “low and slow.” Mrs. Biederhof’s Legendary Light & Fluffy Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes are a mouthful in both ways, but their taste easily takes the pancake.

If that just isn’t enough chocolate for you, try their frozen hot chocolate as well.
