1. Shani Bar

The designer, Shani Bar, is considered one of the pioneering shoe designers in Israel. With stores in Tel Aviv and Berlin, her designs are also sold in selected shoe stores in Belgium, Switzerland, the USA, Japan and France. Shani Bar studied graphic design, photography and accessory design at different institutions in Israel. Her designs follow the concept of ‘clear lines meet ironic lightness and playful details with retro influences.’
Her shoe collections are exclusively being produced in Elda, Spain.

2. Itamar Zechoval

With the aim of pursuing his professional carrier as a designer, Itamar Zechoval decided to move to Milan at the age of 21, where he lived for ten years, studying and working. In his atelier Dandy of the Grotesque in Berlin, Zechoval follows his ‘vision of creating a dialogue between the initial de­sign inspiration and the character who is wearing his garments and vice versa.’
The designer specializes in costumes and conceptual editorials, as well as prêt-a-porter collections and image items, designing for costumers like Marilyn Manson.

Amir Fattal

Amir Fattal was born 1978 in Tel Aviv. From 2003-2009 he studied fine arts in Berlin. He was able to leverage his studies into a Scholarship Exchange Program in Chicago in 2005. He has had several solo exhibitions, as well as group exhibitions at many different locations, including Germany, the UK, Israel, Spain and the USA.
His pieces include video installations, 3D-printings, as well as works combining different fabrics and materials.

‘Blumen’

Alona Harpaz

Alona Harpaz was born in 1971 in Tel Aviv. Already at school she was interested in fine arts. She went to a high school in Tel Aviv with a focus on photography from 1985 to 1989. Following this, she graduated in 1993 from The Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, after which she decided to study at the international center of Photography in New York for three years. Finally, the artists went back to Israel, where she finished her studies at The Art Teacher’s Training College, Ramat Hasharon.
Currently Alona Harpaz lives and creates art in Berlin. Inspired by her surrounding, she takes the moment as it is. In an interview she explained: ‘I just have to open my eyes, and it’s here’.
Her warm and calming art was exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in Israel, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, New York and most recently in Japan.

3. Maya Ben Natan

Benatan is a clothing brand, established in 2013 by the artist Maya Ben Natan, who currently lives and creates in Berlin. She focuses on Textile art, comfortable clothing and accessories. The designer is inspired by ‘tribal patterns, geometric shapes and watercolor techniques, while other prints emerge from unexpected results.’ Maya Ben Natan was born and raised in Israel and studied fashion, as well as communication design. Her clothing lines are available at the SHIO store in Berlin and online.
