Ezo

Ezo means the yard in Georgian, and the name perfectly describes the venue. Located in the courtyard of a residential house, Ezo focuses on organic, healthy ingredients purchased directly from local farmers. Here, you can find both meat and vegetarian options.

This urban-style café-bar is a relatively new addition to Tbilisi’s dining scene. With beautiful music, a good vibe, and an open kitchen, Lolita is an exciting place that locals have come to love. Come and sit outside, sip on some Georgian wine and observe how chefs prepare your meal right in front of your eyes.

Shavi Lomi

Shavi Lomi has become quite popular with both locals and visitors to Tbilisi. The restaurant offers traditional Georgian meals with a modern twist; therefore, it’s an ideal place for those who love tasting modified recipes.

Pipes Burger Joint

Tbilisi has many burger joints, but Pipes is the one that locals love the most. With fair prices and average-sized servings, the venue has quickly gained popularity. If you want to taste something different other than Georgian cuisine, then Pipes is the best place to go.

Azarphesha

Azarphesha offers its customers more than 150 varieties of natural and rare wines, which are produced in Georgia, France, Italy, Lebanon, and Spain. The food menu includes seasonal cuisine inspired by old Georgian recipes, with Persian and Greek influences.

Mapshalia

More like a tavern rather than a restaurant, Mapshalia is a secret gem for many locals. Here, you’ll find home-style food; it’s delicious and very cheap! The tavern sits in a former ticket office of an old movie theater and still has a fresco from that time on its wall.

8000 Mosavali

8000 Mosavali, which translates to 8000 Vintages, refers to the fact that Georgia has cultivated wine for at least 8,000 years. The wine bar has a full range of wines carefully chosen based on the organoleptic qualities. At the moment, it serves 790 wines out of 1,610 samples. The food menu here is limited to various platters, which perfectly complement the wine.

Funicular

If you would like to have a fancy dinner with panoramic views of the city, then Funicular is a perfect place to spend an evening. Located inside Mtatsminda Park, the restaurant is accessible by a cable car or a taxi. The menu is diverse with specialties such as veal shin with tomato or seafood soup. The in-house sommelier can help you choose the right wine for your meal so that you can sit back and enjoy the scenery in front.

We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.

Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.

We are committed to go as far as possible in curating our trips with care for the planet. That is why all of our trips are flightless in destination, fully carbon offset - and we have ambitious plans to be net zero in the very near future.
