Georgia has a plethora of quality writers and artists. One such writer is Shota Rustaveli, a medieval poet who wrote what is considered to be Georgia's national epic, The Knight in the Tiger Skin.

Georgian musicians have appeared onstage with artists like Billy Joel and contributed to the soundtrack of The Big Lebowski, which featured the Rustavi Choir.
